1986 Kawasaki el-Café – spinning engine

Small update…

All the batteries are connected to the EMUS, and it worked fine… for a while… Think I destroyed a isolator card. Will exchange those two with a CAN Module instead. Also got the CAN charger to work 🙂

Connected the motor, Curtis controller and batteries as well. Got the motor to work! Now it is just some small fabrications, then tear it apart and make it look good…

1986 Kawasaki el-Café – batteries recieved and wiring started

Productive day in the garage 🙂

I had to rebuild the battery case since I bought other batteries than it was built for, but now it fits the batteries. The batteries are all connected, EMUS control cards installed and CAN wire connected. Forgot the charger for the computer, and couldn’t check and install the EMUS control unit.

The charger, a TC 1,5kW, has been fitted under the seat in its own box.

The goal next time is to get everything connected, the EMUS set up right, the charger to work and see if everything works together 🙂
